I am offering in person therapy in Los Altos, California, and able to provide virtual (telehealth) sessions to Washington or California residents who prefer telehealth.
-
It is important to me that I make therapy accessible to those who are unable to pay my full fee. I always try to hold a few sliding scale slots. Please reach out to discuss if this is necessary for our work together.

All sessions are virtual and are 50 minutes in length. I find that therapy is most beneficial when meeting on a weekly basis. We will find a consistent time slot that works with your availability.
-
Individual sessions are set at $170 a session. Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, and most FSA/HSA cards through my practice’s online portal.

I am currently in the process of being credentialed with Aetna and Cigna in both California and Washington state.

Yes. Many health insurance plans offer partial or full coverage for out-of-network mental health services. Consider asking your provider the following questions by calling the number on the back of your insurance card:
Does my plan offer any “out-of-network” insurance benefits for mental health?
What is my annual deductible and has it been met?
What is my “co-insurance”?
Do I need prior approval or a referral in order to receive reimbursement for out-of-network mental health care?
-
Insurance companies mandate a diagnosis for mental health services, oversee your health records, and may seek access to your information and progress while in therapy. You may have a high deductible for in-network services and may have more out-of-network benefits than you previously knew about. There also may be therapists that specialize in identities and difficulties that you are experiencing that are not in-network, limiting your chances of finding the therapist that is the best fit for your needs.
